It is recommended to restrict the amount in species that tend to gain weight such as those in the genera Amazona, Cacatua, Psittacula, Eclectus, etc. This extruded formula is very palatable and has a high nutritional value. In addition, it has been formulated paying special attention to the profile of fatty acids and the contribution of Omega 6 and Omega 3. It is formulated to constitute 100% of the parrot's diet. However, it is interesting to provide fresh fruit and vegetables in order to give variety to the diet. In this case Omega formula should constitute no less than 70-80% of the total intake.
